When you are faced with an emergency situation with your horse, your ambulatory veterinarian may refer you or you may call us directly. Please call us ahead of arriving so we can be prepared to examine and treat your horse as efficiently as possible. One of our veterinarians is always on call and our technical staff works around the clock to monitor and treat our patients. Effective June 18, 2021, we are only seeing select emergencies from 8AM-4PM.

Our most common emergencies include:

• Colic (we provide both medical and surgical treatment)
• Lacerations
• Fractures
• Choke
• Dystocia (difficult birth)
