Dr. Keith Brown, and two other rotational doctors are the surgeons at Brown Equine Hospital. After veterinary school Dr. Brown completed an internship at Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital and a surgical residency at Michigan State University. 

BEH surgeons perform both elective and emergency surgical procedures. Our surgery suite is equipped with a hydraulic surgery table, gas anesthesia machine, electrocardiogram, invasive blood pressure monitor, blood gas analyzer, arthroscopy tower, and more. Standing surgeries are also performed at Brown Equine Hospital. There is a rough prep room and a fully padded induction and recovery stall. Our surgical team consists of the surgeon, an anesthetist, and a surgical technician.
